Can someone clear something up for me here.

I was playing a gig last night and they were using a xone 62. Now I've used one a few times when my brother bought one and I always remembered that when killing the bass on the cued track, the volume in the earphone's would stay at full level's.

The mixer I was using last night, when I killed the bass, the bass in the headphone's was killed also, and likewise for all the other gains. Now in a loud club this made it very difficult to mix, as I could hardly hear the record I was mixing in.

Is this normal for a xone 62?

xone's don't have "master"
cryo
if you're using the aux on the cue and the 'pre' button is on and your using the aux for cue then you can hear changes in the EQ

Yes, this is perfectly normal.

The recent versions of the Xone 62 are made to hear the cue Post Fader which would account to why you hear the EQ changes in your headphones.

If youre using the gains (above the EQ's) it will affect the sound in the headphones. If you are using the regular volume faders, than it will not affect the volume in the headphones.
