Any recommendations for a new DJ starting up? I am looking to spend $300-$500US. Keep in mind that I am a poor college student. I am looking for brand recommendations. I will only buy Direct Drive TTs.
Thanks |

| I'm still wondering how reliable that 123dj.com site is though. They have really good prices...too good I think. |

I really wonder why some people consider buying anything else except the wheels of steel?
Tech1200's are the way to go. Sure...they are expensive...but that's because they are the best decks available. If you aren't sure you want to get into dj'ing that much...you should still buy them. Starting out on anything less will comprimise your sanity with spinning. Plus, if you decide to get out of it, then you can just sell them for just as much as you got them for.
Trust me, it's worth the extra time to save up.
Peace,
Steve |
