Well this years sensation is strange, strange and if I havent told you strange.
I heard people telling me sensation 2004 was ooh so bad, but compared to this .. I dunno what to say.
Last year we got funky house by Brian S to get the crowd started followed by Benjamin Bates who picked up the vibe and the oh so mighty Paul van Dyk afterwards. Sander Kleinenberg was a very good transition to Mr. House Erick Morillo and after Jos van Bellen started, I went to bed ;)
Overall it was one solid party with all the vibe and rythm needed, but sensation 2005 is full of gaps und holes. Laidback Luke made his clubhouse thing to get the people started - no problem with that, but David Guetta ? He had his moments, especially when he even mixed (!!!) but playin sweet dreams and simply putting tainted love without any transition behind it ? It's like playing your favorite tapes, but he's gettin a whole lotta money for it !! Same thing for smells like teen spirit - destroyed the vibe he built up with vertigo and before.
And then this audiobullys crap ? I guess they only allowed selling a liveset and not broadcasting, they're sooo important djs ...
Gotta say - I wholeheartedly prefer the sound in the vip lounge over audiobullys or Guetta ! |
