This from John............
I知 back at home and feeling much better. Everything is healing well but I知 still in a lot of pain so have been instructed to rest. I知 very lucky to be here and try not to think back of what could have happened, I have to be forward thinking. As many people keep saying, I have nine lives....I知 currently now on number 3 but don稚 wish to go through any more experiences like this??!
I often visit people in hospital that have been diagnosed with cancer to offer my advice and positive energy, so I知 aware that there are many people worse off in this World. This makes me feel guilty for all the best wishes and attention that everyone has given me with this accident. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, you all have lifted my spirits, it truly blew me away knowing how much people care.
I must rest for the next two weeks in order for my body to repair itself, especially my lung. I have to apologise to everyone who was expecting to see me over the next couple of weeks, I feel terrible letting everyone down. I must concentrate on getting myself back on feet, I still have some way to go, but being at home makes me feel so much better.
Again, thank you all for all the mind-blowing support. This has given me so much energy.
I can稚 wait to get behind those decks again (Ironically my first gig will be Wakestock??!)
Much love

| Thank God. He seems very positive and that is encouraging. JOOF is a braveheart. The man never ceases to amaze me and I have the utmost respect for him. He is a great artist, role model, and friend. |

Basically what happened is that in the late 80s when John was a 20 year old up and coming DJ, he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He spent two years in the hospital undergoing Chemo. The cancer eventually went into remission and John moved from England to Miami to recover and regain his musical bearings. The experience totally transformed his passion for music. The strange thing is that I lived close to John when he was in England, and then bizarrely, I moved to Miami beach from England around the exact same time, and never bumped into him. I used to go to the Cameo Theatre a lot in the early 90s, and thats the same place where John was spinning when he was in recovery.
Its great to know that he still visits people who have Cancer etc. Great guy. |

He has one of the best attitudes from anyone in this scene, especially for someone who is as big as he is.
He got screwed on NYE in Seattle, didnt get his full payment and still played for the crowd and tore it up. |
Yeah, the man is a Saint. I vote him into Sainthood. He wasn't pleased with the promoters on that Seattle gig, but he was there and he delivered to the fans. He would never turn his back on anyone, and I wouldn't turn my back on him. I swear I think his Initials should be JC and not JF. |
