As long as you cancel it and report it, you shouldn't be responsible for any charges.
I had my Check Card and my Corporate Card stolen and the theives charged about $2,000 in a span of 2 hours. Once I found out, I cancelled both and filed a police report. If I remeber correctly, both agencies asked for a copy of the report and just had me document the charges that the crooks made.
The people that really get burnt are the stores that fail to ask for ID and check signatures.
Still makes me sick to think about it, since I was spefically targeted by these dicks. It wasn't like I misplaced my wallet and they happened to find it. These basts had a little plan. ty. |

| That really sucks! But most companies offer 'zero liability' so i think you'll be okay! I got a letter from my bank a few days ago saying that the numbers of 2 of my credit/bank cards had been stolen through a security breach, but luckily nothing was charged, and they had to issue me new numbers. |

I gave my brother a card off my Amex account which was stolen from his gym locker and about $2000 was racked up in the 20mins it took him to get the Amex phone number from Directory Enquiries.
Fortunately Amex were really good and I got the money recreditted within a few days. |

Many companies offer 'zero liability', if you pay for it. Otherwise, federal law states that youre not responsible for anything but the first 50 dollars.
Espect that youll have to pay 50 out of pocket. If you don't have to pay anything at all, be happy :) |
