beating a traffict ticket..need your advice experts

i got an unfair traffic ticket today...
i was going with the speed of traffic and some ed up cop juss came behind and pulled me over
not only was he rude..he gave me a ticket for going only 9 mph over the speed limit (i was going 74 at a 65 freeway zone).
I noticed on the traffic ticket he didnt right anything in for the "radar Unit/Patrol Vehicle No" box.
Can i go to court and fight it off saying that the cop didn't right in anything there? |

actually, i would take it to court.. simply because half of the time the cops don't even show up (they really don't care that much)
so if they don't show up, you've won. |

| tell the judge you had your whole family in that Geo Metro along with 3 matresses on your roof. It will look impossible for your car to go that speed |

| You have to subpoena the officer for that to happen, and there is still the chance that he will show up. I have actually seen someone subpoena the guy who callibrated the gun show up in court from 3 states away. Needless to say, the guy was ed with that ticket. It's a crapshoot with that method. Your best bet is to ask around about the best local lawyer, and go with him/her. |

You might beable to take it to court, especially if he didn't use a radar or speed detecting device.
Now, I found out here that when you say that you will fight the ticket, the day that is assigned to you is actually researched to be the cops day to be in court just for tickets... So there is a chance that he will show up.
Might wanna consult with a lawyer on the phone or do some research online. Lawyers for that will prolly be like $500. But its always good to appear and hope the cop doesn't show up.
Have you had many tickets previously or within the time frame? |

go to a ticket clinic and pay the $60-80 bucks for them to take care of it...u won't have to do anything except pay them.
look in the yellowpages. |
