yeah...
realize most guys hate girlfriends because we view them as irrational Time Succubi. They drain fun, time, and life from our friends and some guys resent that :D
Do you always make your boyfriend hang out with you alone or do you say "hey what are you and the boys up to, can I come?"
yah know, make an effort to be friends with his friends, instead of getting to know them well enough just so you can be cutesy about pulling him away from their good time?? |

| Not really... dont really want your gf to say "hey what are you and the guys doing ? we could go ?" if your doing something with your male friends you wanna do something with them and they wont be very happy if you bring your gf along for the ride. |

Nah, most of buddies have cool gf's, only two are like crazy. One thinks she is going to marry one of best buds and its retarded because they've only dated for like two months. But my girlfriend is too hot, so I don't even think about what my friends have. |

I dont mind as long as they can keep up :D hopefully your girlfriend is cool enough to hang out with your friends without being a drag. |

well our situation is kind of different. i am the one that likes to go out and drink, club etc. he doesnt drink or anything, so when we do stuff with his friends it is usually games, and *fun* stuff like that. my b/f has gone out with me, but i recently just dont go out with him.
but the story is a little different b/c i just moved to Austalia from NY so i dont really know many people. but the one person who i did make friends with was my b/f's friends ex-girlfriend and they lived together (still do). his friend got kind of mad at that when i went over and then we would go out and go shopping and stuff and that is when he got mad. he also got mad when me and this girl would go another room and talk about things, like for example, shopping. he even said something to my b/f, like i hate when they go do that.
i do see him sometimes, but there was an incident last week when i was there, hanging out with the ex and it was 11 or so at nite. i live kind of far and it was late, not that safe at nite, so i said i was leaving and i was going to walk home. i went to the bathroom got my stuff to leave and he is like, in a snotty tone, if you want a ride home, then you have to ask ahead of time. at that point i was like it is ok i can walk. his attitude was horrible.
i understand his friend probably resents me, but it started more when him and that girl were breaking up as we were fine then. it also started when i started going out and drinking with other people, or stay home with my roommates and hang out with them, that he started getting an attitude. his answer was like, pubs are just horrible, drinking sucks, dance music sucks, etc. keep in mind this guy has like one close friend, my b/f.
i think it goes a little beyond taking his best friend away.....i have kind of had it with his 'friend' and i am sorry but i dont deserve to be treated like that. |

oh i forgot to answer that....
i dont always make him hang out with me alone. we spend ALOT of time with his family, like dinner with them 3-4 times a week. he goes out with his friends about once a week and go with him sometimes, but i havent recently, b/c i was busy with uni work. we dont get to spend that much alone time 2gether, but next year we are moving in 2gether so that might be alot of time there. |

yeah. like just now, a friend of mine came over to pick up his decks (party here last night and all the gear slept over, no one felt like picking up at 7am) and spin a bit with me before he left. his GF came along, and she is pretty cool. is learning to spin herself, buys my friend new tracks from time to time.
so it all really depends on the gf. |

ah it makes sense now....his friend said something about how dee (the girl i am friends with) is taking me away from the group. i did not understand that, now i do.
but yes he is a douche, and he would get pissed even if me and her would go shopping.
