It was my first time seeing these guys live and I really really wish Vegas would get off its ass and book them. I am gonna be asking and asking at Ice for them to bring em out.
They played some sick tunes. I was initially kinda thrown off when they played without you near within 20 mins of taking the stage, but it really didn't matter, they had a ton o stuff to play. Some great classics, and some kick ass new ones. I think there are plenty o TL's out there with their songs in em. But the one song they didn't play I was kinda wanting was their remix of swing 2 harmony. but we got, Alive, Fallen, Til there was you, arcadia, and the accapella of beautiful things over a beat that I thought was no one on earth...but in the end was not..hehe.
but I saw Curly there, with carrie :D, nice to meet ya carrie. and I saw philippe, was hangin out til my friend had a bout of the stomache troubles. :P.
Saw and got a pic with Zubin of Departure, he seemed pumped people recognized him, :D. too bad he didn't sing live this night. And then said hello to mr dresden, who charmed the pants off my lady friend.

Haven't seen Spundae that bloody packed in the main room lately, particularly with other events going on. I think what impressed me the most about G&D's Ableton set was the pacing of the track selection. Acoustically sublime and never a dull moment.
Thanks again to Jonathan NEIL for playing Ben Macklin's 'Cityplay' for me. :D
Fanatstic atmosphere last night - and yes, the music upstairs was quite good too. |

| ah, I got in alil after 11 so after I got me some food (which kicks ass, I forgot circus had that lil place outside) and a few beers I could only listen to a song or two of jethros. :( |

yeah me and carrie hit up spundae instead of independance. we got there a little after 11pm. we were both feelin trent cantrelle in the house room. he was tearin it up. Jethro and LRCN were rockin it upstairs in the loft. It was cool seeing G&D yet again but this time it just didnt really do it for me. I wasnt too into it. We kept going back into the house room and upstairs in the loft. G&D were playing harder and faster than usual. I dont think they have any structure to their sets. They just play random it seems like. We left a little early. It was the first time I've ever left early from Spundae. Usually I am one of the last ones out. LRCN and Jethro are in awesome. It was my first time seeing and hearing them spin.

The guys of depature & markus wrote the track. gave a copy to g&d, they loved it and wanted in on the project. the reason it sounds as professional as it does is because of those guys |

Right, but there seems to be some confusion as to whether it's MS+D+G&D - WYN or MS+D - WYN (G&D remix). Markus said it's the former (a writing collaboration). Josh said G&D co-/re-wrote it and are the producers. I guess Markus will make the final call on the billing... In the meantime, we will keep having the argument :) |
