mmkay thanks... |
I'm 29 so I guess I'm fortunate to have been in London at Home to see him spin along with him coming to the west coast where I lived back then. He was really the only DJ to travel to the smaller cities of the U.S. The very beginning of 1999 is when I got into trance. He was sick back then, easily my favorite DJ at the time. He basically got me into trance.
I traveled to London for a good part just for Oaky. |

Let me tell you something about Liquid Todd i'm sure no one ever knew. Back in 1998 he had a cd released for tower records. I picked it up and heard some sweet tracks on it. I emailed him complimenting his mix and showed him some of my music. He emails me back with extremely rude comments and says he doesnt have the time for amateurs. If I ever see this guy i'm gunna knock him in the nads!!! |
Sorry to hear that
after he finished his set he was very open and made him self-available to talk to his fans (including myself)
You will rarely see me at trance event nowadays due to the dearth in quality but this night really was amazing. The first couple of tracks Paul played were decent. But about 30 minutes into his set he drops some old trancer. From then on it was another world. I could have sworn he dropped a new Derek Howell song towards the end of the night. |

Robert Gitelman - Children of The Sun? That's nothing like any of the tracks on those Perfecto Albums he's got :) Cool to hear he played something a bit harder than usual. |
