| Ferry Corsten isn't as big as tiesto, seriously dont laugh :) think about it tiesto gets alot more publicicty and acclaim but if one was to scroll down there winamp playlist (as i have been :P) they would find HEAPS of quality productions and remix's by ferry far greater than tiesto's in my opinion i dont know why i could be totally out of line here cause i live all the way in australia :) but i always felt he was underrated dont get me wrong i know hes big real big. but i also know tiesto is bigger... at least now... i liked tiesto for ages (until he produced in my memory haha! :) j/k :D) but i dunno i think ferry deserves alot of credit.. maybe hes really big elsewhere it just seems the only big recognition he recieves is form his trance nation cds... |

| two good point there, i prefere tiestos tracks in gernal, but adore ferrys sets when he can be bothered to spin them, killer uplifting! :) |

exactly what i was going to say...
Ferry is far too repetetive, not only that, but he steals bits from other peoples tunes, then he dont turn up to gigs...
tiesto on the other hand has made more original stuff, and actually plays a set when he's sposed to be :) |

| yeah that's the real beef that i have with corsten. i mean this guyz got skillz and talent both as a producer and dj. but what really knocks this guy's rep down is his constant no-shows for parties. i mean one or two is alright, but when you constantly do it? hmm. |

both djs recently went on a bit of a slump, tiesto has gone to commercial/ tryingtobeindivdualbutfailing, having not much to show if you dont include the awesome urban train, and some of ferrys productions of late havnt been up to standard (although some have been peaches :D) all in all i think they should get back on track as gouryella and crank out a few tunes again. after all, they once were of equal merit, now ferry is still the same but tiesto is loved by pop fans*.
*pop fans - people who like someone who is allready popular in the attempt to look cool / musically knowledged / with it. i dislike them greatly.
but seriously theyre both great jsut they both are making their fair share of musical boo boos! |
