I rarely ever say a dj destroyed a club, or played the best set of the year. But I think I can firmly say it here. He threw down some hard ass banging techno and everybody ate it up.
Plus what he was doing on the decks was just incredible. He would have 3 cd decks going, one looped, and be scratching on another while playing with the effects pad. I'd say I danced my ass off but I was too busy staring.
Then of course Ferry was on after him :D. Good ol ferry never disapoints. He had in some great trance tracks ass usual. To bad I had to leave early, but ooohhh well, I had a blast.

OMG!!! I had SO much Fun this weekend!!! :D :D :D
After Indepdance I went with Kris and Mike back to Kris place so we could rest before I trip to Vegas. It would have been to Crazy to leave right after:crazy:
We made it to Vegas in 3 hours and once we got there it was all about chillen ;) We hung out with Rubin and Gang ( Officaly called the Ballers now:haha: ) In their Fatty hottel room.
Then it was off to ICE. We got there right at 11. And the main room wasn't open yet!!!:mad: We had to sit in the hip-hop room and listen to Crap for all most 30 Mintuts!!! WTF!!!
Once we where in Farsheed was playing a very progressive slow set. It was ok.. but again it was slow. (126) Eddie Came on around 12. He picked up the pace and picked it up fast. OMG!! I could just sit and watch this guy mix all night. He had 3 CDJ's going at one time and then mix in the 4th and you could not even tell.
During Eddies set a Friend of Mine took Kris and I up stairs to see Ferry!!!! WHOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!! We said hello ( agian ;)) and we got pictures and I got him to sign the CD with our pictures in it. It was pretty Funny Ferry had no idea what pictures where in there untill he saw the CD. hehe He then asked me if I brought a little red heart this time.. hehe I told him ya. hehe
Anyways We go back down stairs right before Ferry gets on and OMG his First track was so beautiful! I grabed Kris and went to the front where Ferry could see us and we held our hearts up high.
Eddie might have destoryed Ice But Ferry Owned it!! OMG!! His set was so amazing last night!!!

Ferry played untill 5:45 am!! I was nice getting a proper set!!
Ferry Banged it as well!! OMG! I danced so much my feet hurt so bad. hehe Then with a trick on the CDJ he went back to a more europhoric trance. It reminded of me of the set at Space :D
At the end of his Set I chatted with Ferry for at bit and Kris and I got our hearts signed. hehe. I think Ferry liked them!
I had so much Fun this weekend!!! The only one complant I had was when the ICE came on. Yes it felt so nice to get cooled off, but at the same time I felt my ass Being Grabed!!! My "Friend" even did it and went twords the front. He is not my friend no more!!!:whip: Then the second time it happed I actully turned around and smaked a guy so hard behind me!!!:whip: Don't get me wrong I never do that ever but I was so pissed that I flet my ass being Grabed again!!!I know I wore a cute little short skirt but that is not an invataion to Touch my bum..
Ok end of Rant hehe.

Man it was a great nite. Eddie and Ferry what an awesome team. First i have to say that ICE is a dope club, the crowd seems to on crack out....way to crackout. But man i was going the whole time the nite overall was really good.
Thanks electrophile for letting us meet up at your room. Hope rocky had an kickass birthday! Mike, awesome to meet you. Sweetcandy girl and Neinerlove always good to see you guys too. Boomer and Michelle, must have an awesome weekend, G&D, then Eddie and Ferry, wow! Fupaking, i'll promise to listen to your mix! good to meet your :p

Alright, first off, whoever left the show early... You should all be ashamed... You should have known that the set that he was playing was going to be epic upon all fronts and would just blow away any other set you witnessed live!
Usually towards the end of ferry's set he mixes from right of way to rock your body to punk, or possibly has one or two songs mixed between the three. But he always ends with it usually.
Last night for those of you who left, he put 4-5 songs between each and brought out every classic you coudl possibly want after the recent productions, taking requests and making the set one build up with every song being better than the previous one.
Mainly the set went from an hour of Intro/chilled out songs to two hours of all his new banging tracks, to two hours of all the classics with a few new tracks. Some of the classics he played were:
Gouryella - Tenshi (the encore closing song) which i requested a couple times and at 5:25 he said he would try to close with either a gouryella track or out in the blue as i requested.
He did not play gouryella- gouyella , or gouryella - ligaya,
but he did play his
remix of Thrillseekers - SYNATHASIA and the old adagio for strings.
Verachoca - Carte blanc Ferry remix
Possibly art of trance- madagascar, but not sure
Ferry Corsten & Shelley Harland :: Holding On [Ferry Corstens Flashover Mix]
And a couple others from energy 2000 sets which i have to find.
Needless to say it was amazing in the fact that my two friends who dont like electronic music stayed till the end.
You may have seen one friend, he was the one on his knees on the floor, haha, and he was simply drunk. Once again killer show!!! |
