i heard that too, but i refuse to believe it. i heard of poeple coughing up blood tho. but then again, when i smoked them i didn't chain smoke like regular cig. |

I used to smoke unfiltered luckies but once I started smoking daily I had to move to the filtered ones. Still, nothing beats the buzz you get from an unfiltered cigarette. |

they are worse for you. but it all depends on how much you smoke.
if you smoke 2 cloves everyday instead of 2 packs of cigarettes a day, then no its not worse for you.
but if you smoke a pack of cloves vs a pack of cigarettes, then yes it is worse for you. |

| I smoke bidis more than cigarettes (but I'm not addicted to nicotine...not a regular smoker) and some people say they're better (no chemicals, grown phosphate free in India, less tobacco, etc.) but others say they're worse (less filtered, more nicotine, lower quality). I don't think anybody can really say one type of cigarette is worse than another, it varies more from person-to-person and how their lifestyles are. |

| Bidis are Indian cigarette things...they're wrapped in some sort of leaf (I think it's called tendu or something) and they're sorta harsh so they're usually flavored like something. They have a lot of nicotine compared to normal cigarettes. |
