Alright well here's the deal, Im a hard core gamer, and want a damn good set of headphones, 5.1 is awsome for me, and not to mention listing to trance...heh...keep in mind that these are gonna be use for surround sound game playing, and im on a budget so no 200-400 dollar suggestions please!
So all the reviews i have read of this pair of headphones is that they are awesome, and i figure if there is ever a bunch of people that can find somthing wrong with a set of headphones it's you guys.
Thanks so much for all your help, you guys really are a life saver... :stongue:

Zalmans suck. audio quality. You need a pair of Grado sr325s!
& if your serious about good sound then go the Sennheiser HD 650s.
pffffft zalman . They have interesting technology but very poor sound quality. Audiophiles will slap you for saying they are good audio quality. The reviews that you read were probably done by a pc nerd, not an audiophile. Here's a comparison for you:
THE ZALMAN:
Frequency Responce: 50Hz - 20kHz (this means you get NO bass. No good for trance!)
Sensitivity: 89 dB ± 3 dB at 50mW (Loud enough)
Impedance: 16 Ohms (Easy to drive - no amp required)
THE SENNHEISER PX 100 OpenAir Dynamic Headphone
Frequency Response: 15 - 27,000 Hz
Sensitivity: 114 dB SPL
impedance: 32 ohms (Will Drive OK)
The Grado Sr80s have great Bass |

| Zalman headphones are . Avoid them like the plague. Buy Grados. (Such as the ones that I'm wearing in my avatar.) |

So nobody has a suggestion of a good headphone thats NOT $200 cause i already said i don't have that kind of money...or are you all just gonna tell me Zalmans suck and i should get $200 headphones?
Anybody got a suggestion? |

i got some sennheiser HD 447, and they cost like $CDN 130 or so, so thats under the us$200 limit u have,
they sound fnk great imo, and im very picky when listening to music,
i dont know of any reviews but subjectively i can tell u they are great
i can compare them to some sony's ive have, and they are better and also to a sound system i had that consisted of an 5.1 altec system set with two 250w rms speakers hooked up at a pioneer amplifier all of this goin thru an soundblaster audgiy, and they are really good for what they are worth, nice bass, nice treble and mid, fkn good for any kind of music, i listen to trance, flamenco, salsa, hiphop, blues, an other stuff on them and havent been let down |
