well are you going to actually produce in 192? i don't think so, i also highly doubt that you have any samples anywhere near 192 also ! the 2496 will suit perfect ! as far as monitors go, listen to them and do some study on what you should look for in a good monitor setup (i.e clean, flat response etc) |

well thats what i dont have a clue about :P i mean, i can master, everything sounds ace in my speakers, its just that i need my tracks to be as close to the industrial standard as im discussing a few deals with different labels, they say my stuff is cool but it sounds like productionwise (levels and mastering). |

I say get the Audiophile 192 out of those two, although I have no experience with either one. Just looking at the specs though, the 192 has a much flatter frequency response, by the looks of it a lower noisefloor, as well as a higher dynamic range. More importantly though, it seems the 2496 doesn't have balanced outputs, where the Audiophile 192 does. You'll get more out of your monitors that way, provided you use balanced cables as well. |

ESI nEar 05 eXperience
Frequency Response : 60Hz - 22kHz
Better save for monitors that can go atleast to 40Hz. |
