Anyone on Lexapro?

I was just given a scrip for Lexapro to treat my depression.
Is anyone else on it? I'm trying to find out what to expect cause in my experiences the official information given with medicine isn't always completely on par with actual effects and such. |

It's pretty gentle compared to stuff like Effexor or Paxil (Ick!). Start taking it a few months, see how you feel, and if it doesn't work out, ask your doc for something else.
Lexapro/Celexa and Zoloft seem to be the generally well tolerated SSRI's... |

You can still roll safely on SSRIs, but it doesn't really do anything so you're pretty much wasting your pills. |

| two nights ago, i took some tylonol for a headache and then rolled two hours later with only 2/3 full effect. i know i had a legit pill. do u think its my tolerance(3-4weeks) or the tylonol that lowered the effect? |
