I don't find this track flat at all, it's constantly evolving and building precisely as good trance should do. The complexity makes you consciously interact with the tune. I find it similar in feeling to Crossroads, both have that hard-to-place melody that is simultaneously relaxing and invigorating.
I agree that Mark Otten is a genius. With this song he's become one of my favorites and I'm looking forward to what he will create in the future. |
