well actually, as Pez said, it's the second time (2008, 2012) we try to get the games...
we didn't host the games since 1924, 195- for England.
Anyways, happy for you guys, hope we'll host this great event in 4 years :) |

yea on the news they had a feed from paris but they thought it was london because the people were cheering. they had all these huge signs but i couldnt understand what they said (actually i think one of them said Thank You really big). the anchor guy was like "and the people are cheering the decision" then they cut away and the guy was like "im getting word that that video was from paris" then the people just started walking away.
the IOC owned an entire country.
are you guys going to get Tiesto for the opening ceremonies? :stongue: |

I Was so looking forward to this, im sooo happy now that Olympics will take place in UK :). I feel sorry for french people and I hope they undrestand the loss, but after all what is important is that olympic is in Europe. London to paris is not really far, about couple of hours drive. so not too worrie for frenchies :D

thank god it's the summer olympics .. at least england can make the attempt to win a couple of medals for their home country ...
