Computer Help: Setting up a Torrent Tracker

Alright all you tech-heads. I need to set up a torrent so all of you can download this file off me quickly and effectively. Torrents would prolly be the best way (as long as all of you help seed) for this 87 meg file.
I need to set up a tracker URL for this. I know bitcomet does it, but I've run into a few problems:
1. I'm behind a router/firewall
2. I don't know where to look in the software for the tracker URL
HELP!!

send the file to me i can upload it on themixingbowl torrent web site for everyone to download.
as for setting up a tracker and stuff well first off its a bitch second if u r behind a router its even more of a bitch cos then u have to forward your ports that the tracker and torrent will use for seeding to your router. if you want you can google port forwarding and tracker help to get step by step guide as to how it can be all set up. um wait... I thought torrent files can be downloaded regardless of which torrent server u use
or am i completely lost

yup true u have to be a member but its not like they ask for money to become a member. it takes couple of minutes to register and thats it plus i upload alot of kool sets on there so everyone can benefit from it. just an opinion tho thats all.
Majority of torrent sites will ask you to become a member in order to stop link stealing they dont allow ppl from outside trackers to download from their tracker. |
