Flashbacks: Anyone else ever get them?

So I'm at work right now, and I definitely just started seeing all kinds of tracers just on everything... Basically just like a mild trip, lasting for a few moments, then passing. Psychologically it's a pretty tense couple of moments, and afterwards I still feel a little off...

This basically describes a situation that's been going on for me ever since I stopped touching LSD. I have no desire to get on here and "brag" about how much/how many drugs I've done and just how cracky I am, but I'll say this, in High School there were a lot of doses around, and for about a year and a half I was dosing exceptionally frequently and exceptionally irresponsibly...

After I stopped, for a while, it seemed like any time I got myself into a stressful situation that completely overwhelmed me, it was as if I was dosed again, albeit briefly, psychologically (Audio & Visual) all the effects were there. I have no idea if this is legitimately what would be called a "flashback," but that's teh best word I could use to describe it.

It's now 4 years later, and I haven't touched the stuff in that time frame, the incidence of these "flashbacks" occurs far less frequently, and when it does occur, I generally understand what's going on and cope rather well.

What I guess I'm really wondering, is for any of the rest of you, do you see these kinds of latent or long lasting after effects come to the surface ever? If so, how do you deal?

I know, I know.... Friggin' Crackheads right? First the MDMA thread and now this one...

My bad....

I was in a lab last year at college, doing my , whatever. I asked my professor over to help me out with a concept, and just as he did, I completely tripped out, what I was working on started going a bit crazy and I had that feeling when you're coming up, for about 10 seconds. So here I was staring at my work on my page trying to figure out what the hell was happening, completely ignoring my prof who had come to talk to me. Does that count?

Driving back from a weekend of pot and acid I had a .. I dunno. I flipped out a bit. I wouldn't call it a flashback, but it was def unexpected. :p Made driving that much more interesting...

Crackheads aren't made, they're born... :D

Also, this alliance is about as far from 1337 as possible, but that could be said about almost any alliance... ;)

Welcome to our cracky family!
