I took a nap in the middle of my chillout mix, and during
Solar Stone - Seven Cities (Ambient Mix)
I fell asleep! As I was dozing off, I could hear the melody get louder and ring through my mind, it was one of the most beautiful things ever!! I was SOOOOO HAPPY AND PEACEFUL!!! |

I actually have a hard time fallin asleep at night with out my headphones and some chilled trance. I luv meetin people that feel the same way about this music. As for my top three:
1. Orbital - Halcyon & on & on (w00t, first one to say this, really can't beleive it)
2. Chicane - Autumn Tactics (End of Summer remix)
3. Chicane - Lost You Somewhere (The whales in background, beautiful)
Ah hell, i can't stop there. Just put anything by chicane in the list, i love this producer. Tomski feat. Jan Johnston - Love will come (also produced by chicane). Wes - Alane (trouser enthusiasts mix). My current most listened to is : Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (Solar Stone Chillout Mix) |

Many of the tracks you guys post here isnt' chill out at all.It's just very mellow and subtle trance.My idea of chill out are the likes of:Zero 7,Bent,Kinobe and so on.So my three favs would be these:
1.Terry Callier - Love Theme From Spartacus (Zero 7 Remix) (ALL Zero 7 remixes are drop dead gorgeous.Especiall this one.)
2.JFC - Rotating Minds (From his album "Chrome De Lux" on Elektrloux recordings.Check him out,beautiful ambient album.)
3.Bent - Bewitched As I Am (From their internet-only album "Downloaded For Love".Had a hard time choosing between this one and "Cylons In Love" which is also lovely.) |
