I visit his 'parties' a fair bit, including in Berlin, and I didn't WANT to hear Paul play those tracks at all. It's a stale tracklist, and going by previous LFA tracklists, in particular last years, this is a massive disappointment.
And don't try and play the mp3 card in here, because I know for a fact that most users who have replied to this thread so far are keen visiters of his 'parties' too, and are perfectly capable of determining whether or not they would have enjoyed it based on a written tracklist.
And finally thanks to tr4nc3r for taking the time to actually do a tracklist. |
It was anounced befor that on this party he will give a little preview on his POD2 compilation, so sure that he played all his favourite tracks of the last 2 years he reworked. |

I'm pretty sure that most of the stuff he's reworked over the last 2 years won't be on TPOD2. |

hopefully not - this set was awful |

hej, until santiago nino it wasn't that bad, quite adequate after sasha's set (starting with Other side was awful.)
after that it was really boring, that's somehow true. |

the first transition from other side to second day seemed to be premixed. why do i say so? when he played the same version of the other side at the end of his set, you could hear second day coming in while he was fading out |

perhaps pvd got tangled in his own file-system, or he was boozing to much.
but I think that people where quite satisfied with his set in its first part (when wyou forget for a minute that "superfly" mix - that crashed the flow - remember? :whip: ). and later when paul played all the calm and low tracks I think he didn't notice that he was the only one in the hall who wanted to hear that. |

| and now some explanations... you ask why the t/l was updated so well? i thought it will never happen.. i was wrong... firstly i looked at the TPOD2 tracklist, then i visited pvdplanet... suddenly i said: FUUUUCKKKK! We've got a problem here... paul's set looks identically the same as the tpod cd (whole fagments are the same) you can look at page one where is the old version of the t/l. Then look at the TPOD tracklist, it all fits just perfect. What's the problem? The thing is that almost WHOLE SHOW was probably PREMIXED!!! I haven't heard about such a dj can make for his fans.. i don't know what to say. I made the tracklist when i was there, so there's no possibility to be wrong. He just pushed PLAY, and played us his new compilation cd, doing pause sometimes to play other stuff. Probably he thought no one will make a t\l... now i say: you pvd. And i think u can do this too.. |
