Just got back from taking clovis home, 4:05 AM, probably party just ended at heaven...well here goes! Weird start off tonight, we get there at 10 pm and there is nobody in line (nobody means like ten people or less :p ) So as we get to the line, we meet DJ Spunk and his girlfriend, both of which are really AWESOME people really glad to meet you guys! So once I reach the booth and give me ID, my name cannot be found on any list? woah, they couldn't find curly's list?! oh man, but...leon helped me with this one and I really thank you for that!!! I owe you one LEON!!! As we are waiting in the line to go in, really great stories exchanged between spunk, his gf, clovis and me, still no sign of any other TA's. We get in and the pen for the 21 year olds is back up..blegh :rolleyes: . Not sure who was spinning first, but had pretty good track selection, then came Bob and Gil La with an amazing set! Seeing phillipe inside, we decided to try and ID these tracks...but we FAILED horribly :cool: , here is what we got: *updated by Bob*

Pretty bad eh? hehehe well anyways, got to meet Carrie! and thanks alot of the cds!!! :D I finally see curly and see whats up, turns out the list never made it in, even though he did send it...damn computers :( Sweetcandy girl just appears from behind, great to see you once again!! Really good set by Gil and Bob thats for sure! Krister great to see you too, ended up on different sides of the pen but still got a kick out the sets! Great to meet you Sooshimonster, GPC and Technofriik! Also saw Nrgtrance and Edwin, great to see you guys again! Not too shabby, All in all a badass set! I had a cookie from the bar half way and it kinda like gave me a big stomach ache, so i was out for a good 30 mins just standing there, but after that i think the sugar kicked back in and kept me going! Once they took out those fences, the vibe got better! Once Vander Oz got on, i was almost out, really tired :( and only stayed for a bit of his set This is what I got...

PS5: I would have to say that this was the 1st time at heaven without seeing Kristina Sky play, and that made a massive difference in the vibe, nobody knows the beauty of trance like she does! ;)
PS6 and most important: Really missed all you other TA's!!!!!! (Hope you guys had a blast at avalon and cant wait to see the review! :D ) |

yea thanks michelle for the comp! i owe you one girl! it was cool meeting curly. unfortunately i couldnt hop to RED with you guys cuz it was soo packed and i arrived there late. i was the guy with the ibiza shirt. great night. good times. till next time.

Wow forgot me all ready ;)
I had a late starte last night not getting to both club untill later then I wanted too. I got off work a 8pm ( I usally get off at 6!!!:eyes: )
I first start off at Avalon for Red and I have to say the line outside was massive!!! It is after 10 and no on is inside the club yet ( Red was suspose to open at 9!) There was another show at Avalon so they had to hold the line. I got my ticket and I was off on my 4 block walk to Heaven.
I get there and the lines where not too long but there where still people there. In Line I ran into Kfrogger. He told me that they somehow "lost" Curly's list (oppsie) but the Guest list lady was nice to give them discount tickets. ( I am sorry I could not help all of you guys :( :( :( I still feel bad :( )
I get get in to the Vangard and even more changes where made! They had taken the "stage" away from the DJ booth and placed nice leather coutchs on the side. There where also 2 large vissual Screans up on the wall and new paint as well. I think the Vangard was officaly finished.
When I got there Bob and Gill where up on the Decks tradeing spaces. I saw Clovis, Xtractor, Phillip, Lindsy, Krister and a buch of other TA's! :D :D :D :D I go to this bar and a girl runs up to me with this DVD case, she is with her husband. In the case there is a picture of Tiesto siging a shirt on Day one and I am in it!!!
:haha: I was trying really hard to understand what they where saying but they where so happy to give that to me. It was that small thing that made my day awesome!!!
Anyways I thought Bob and Gill played an awesome set don't get me wrong... But there was something missing.... Kristina Sky :( I love the fact that she starts on the more progressive side and then bulids it for the headliner. Bob and Gil really banged it out. ( Is it me or is it that on the Summer line up Kristina Sky is missing from all shows!!!!:conf: )Anywhos... I see Xtractor again and he is on his phone typing all the tracks he knew.. hehe Yes you need to put the phone down and DANCE!!! :haha:
Anyways Robter gets on and keeps the growd going. Is set was ok for me. He had me dancing then he lost me, then he had me again. But he was very energised beind the decks and I loved when he Played A&N Shiver ( some remix) Right before I left he played some funky ass Track that made me go :wtf: But then played a massive tune that I loved. Over all I thought he was pretty darn good!
I ran into so many frinends and met some new people as well. I had a great time!! But alas it was 1:30 and time for me to head over to Red to catch Marco V!!!!
That reviwe will come later.
Since mysite is back up I will have my picts up soon. I had to be sparing since I lost on of my batteries over the 4th!! And I had another event to do:crazy:

He He He He. Well I don’t know what to say about Curly's guest list being lost in cyber space, but I can confirm that he sent the e-mail. I saw the e-mail confirmation sent Thursday night around midnight. :conf:
Other than that, I had another great night at Heaven. We got there at a little after 11 and started making the rounds. Grabbed a drink and started running into other TAs. Bob and Gill started the night off great :D Happy Birthday Bob, thanks for sharing the chocolate cake and Gill thanks for the CD. I hope you enjoy the ones I gave you too. ;) Then it was time for some serious dancing. Robert Nickson came on and I was jumping around like a mad woman. Xtractor was a little preoccupied with recording the track names, but he did loosen up and get into the grove. I think that’s why he wasn’t able to finish the listing. :rolleyes: I finally got to strike up a good conversation with technofriik and what an awesome sweetheart she is. Thanks for introducing me to some more TAs. I didn’t realize how many there were, they mostly lurk on here at the moment, but we need to change that.
I look forward to doing it all over again tonight at Spundae, and will also try to hit up Avalon after I watch my friend Erwin throw down his set upstairs. :eyespop: |

Damn, 2 hours sleep, a shower and back to work at 8:40am :eyespop:
We got there about 11:30 and there was a bit of a line. We had presales though so we got our tickets and VIP bands and went straight to the front. What exactly does VIP get you at Heaven? I was actually surprised how many people were inside at 11:30. I haven't been to anything other than 21+ for the last 3 years so it was kinda weird to see the Rave attire you get with 18+. Particularly outside the 21+ pen. Its all good though, kinda fun to be reminded of those days.
Bob and Gill already had it goin on which was good because we arrived ready to go. This was my first time to Heaven/Vanguard and I have to say that I like sound system. It doesn't have the turn you insideout bass like Avalon does but everything is very well balanced. No sense of strain or hardness ever. Not a single wince of all night. Volume level was perfect IMO. There were a couple of tracks that had some pretty deep bass and it pumped it out impressively. Maybe they need a DBX 120A or something. Lighting, sound, vibe was all good. I will definitely be going to Heaven in the future.
Although I missed Agnelli and Nelson, Robert Nickson spun a great set. No complaints here at all. I think he spun from 1am to 3am. I agree with DJ Xtracktor, once the pen comes down, the energy take a step up. Seeing how we had to be at work this morning, we left about halfway thru Vander's set. My poor GF had to drive from Chino Hills to Irvine for work :nervous: Luckily, I live 5 miles from work.
It was nice finally meeting some TAs. I recognized Clovis and he introduced us to a bunch of other TAs. Thanks Clovis. Hopefully I can put name to face of everyone we met in the future.
Time to get back to work. I'm going to be non-productive enough today. |

good booby, its awsome to see you doing what u love on the decks. It was a good night, seeing all the peeps. it was awsome to party back home again. europe really isnt that impressive. I think we can party alot better.
The sound was amazing. The new system has got to be the best in LA. The sound was very clear, the bass was at a good level. definatly pushes Ice for best system.
Robert was really entertaining, super cool guy, and he worked the crowed really good. the crowed was very differant imo. Alot probably had to do to red bieng at avalon. but the night was very diversed. didnt see to much glow sticks, and all that jazz either. The club had a more welcoming feel compared to any other heaven event.
all in all a good and safe night. big ups to robert hope u make it out more often after tonight. and thanks for all the vinyls at the end of the night, even though i dont spin, but i distributed them accordingly to my two favorite DJs that i support and will always be there for you guys. i am out peace. |

sorry to everyone about the guestlist situation. i got screwed the over. i sent my guestlist in on Thursday night. I felt so bad for the beginning of the night but then kind of just let go and tried to have fun, which i did. i met a lot of new people. DJ Spunk, KFrogger, Bob Motamedi, Sooshimonster, and many others. For anyone that was on my guestlist and ended up having to pay for full price on the cover, email me at [email protected] and i will make sure ya get hooked up on the upcoming heaven events. i feel so bad and i will find a way to make it up to all of you.
as for robert nickson, he played some sick tracks but i was more about mingling with the other TA's than anything else. i had a lot of fun even tho i didnt dance very much. i kicked it out on the patio for a while as well.

Starting July 22, Heaven will be 21+ until 1:30am and 18+ after that so no worries. Everyobdy will still get to see at least the headliner.
Last night was a lot of fun! Robert kicked ass. Great meeting Carrie, DJXtractor and GPC! Always good to see my other TA friends (I won't even try to list you all here...).

Note to Self Curly: Bring a copy of your list next time with you ok ;) That way if they "losse" it there is a back up. When I have large list that is what I do so everyone is covered no matter what ;) |
