just get any wheel cleaner dude -- you can pick them up almost anywhere.
just spray it on, wait a little and then hose it off: if the rim is really dirty just spray on more or repeat the process a few times and the grime should come right off.
(just make sure not to rub or brush the rim while the cleaner is on because it's corrosive and can mess up your rim -- for this same reason, make sure you don't leave the cleaner on for too long before rinsing it off) |

yah, i used wheel cleaner and it got all the brake dust off. I just found out the reason the rim is darker than the rest is because it has been powder coated. I guess the guy i bought em from was going for a gunmetal look. Any ways, i soaked the rim in paint stripper used steel wool to polish them rim. Looks good as new now. but thank you guys for all the great ideas!

Why did you buy ty rims dude? If your rims are beyond cleaning, my solution wont work. It should though. I dont know why someone would have an Acura and let it go to like that. |
I didnt buy ty rims bro, they are in excellent condish, except the one rim that has a thin layer of powder coating. Not only did i get 4 GSR rims, i also got them wrapped with Falken Azenis Sport racing tires... i got rims and tires for 350.00 i really couldnt pass up a deal like that. I guess the guy really needed the money...
But thanks n e ways for ur help, i appreciate it.
