On Saturday July 16th we will officially be celebrating our 9th Birthday. Joining us is a very special guest from Sweden making his Toronto and Canadian debut, from Subliminal and Size Records... Steve Angello. This man is blowing up worldwide - sharing a residency with Erick Morillo @ Pacha Ibiza for the summer, and tracks and mixes being featured everywhere... Nocturnal, Pete Tong's Essential Mix, Smirnoff Radio Show, Resident Advisor, and tons more. Rounding out the lineup will be Nocturnal's Simon Jain and Phantasm in the main room, and breaks in the lounge with Tommy Gunners vs J-Red and Boa Breaks resident RC.
Hosting the event is a completely out-of-control crew including our own director of chaos Matti Elms and Colin "C-Money" Ness, along with the infamous Lily L and Jenny Pie, and Boa's Erica Kelly and Jeff Button.
Boa is located at 270 Spadina Avenue (1 Block south of Dundas). Doors open at 1am and we go until 9 in the morning!
We're also going to have a photo exhibit on the screens beside the booth showing pics from our last 9 years, and We've been scouring the archives to find some gems from Industry, Liquid Adrenaline, Dose, Syrous, Destiny, Turbo, Mad Bar, WMC, Gold Club, and other old school events... and let's just say, there's some real classics in there already!
It is our first event at Boa and we are very excited about showcasing the Nocturnal sound in such a stellar venue. We hope that you are able to join us for an amazing night! |
