ZA ZA ZA ZA ZABIIIEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAA... in the words of some VJ from Ultra 5 " HOly ing ZABIELA"

He tore down the house. I knew he would, but once again it was beyond everything and anything i expected. And with his new Albeton laptop hes unstopable. The warm up dj, whoever he was, was also a nice warm up to the man, as he played some of his tracks and used the pioneer effects pad as well.

OMFG he ended with Depeche mode... of course. Wow its like 530 am i need some sleep but for all of you who missed this show... Drive down to LA to AVALON to see him. Too bad you probably wont be able to watch everything he does like we could at Paradise, but still its the best show on earth...

Thank you James Zabiela... You took us to Paradise and back... With the dirtiest bass lines and crazy sampling, looping and effects...

PS i was the one chillin to the right of zabiela by the lounge area the whole night dancing the night away in khakis and a green striped shirt. MY poor girlfriend rolled her ankle on the way to the club, but she knew i couldnt leave till he ended... WOWOWOWOWOWOW

Haha, I kept nagging him to drop Enjoy the Silence. For some reason, I always have to hear 80's tracks close out the night at Paradise. This was my first time watching Zabiela chop it up live and I must say he's one of the most entertaining djs to watch. Half the time he was up there, he was "making" beats off the cuff. Here's some pics from the night and about 12 minutes of video clips I took trying to capture Zab's handiwork...

Well he did drop an 80's track. I heard that on friday night in chicago he did play and close with enjoy the silence. It would have been tight to hear him do a mash up of it, like he did once with enjoy the wavy gravy. Cheers mate!
