Becomeone, London’s longest running Saturday day party is about to launch on Saturday nights in Melbourne with the very best in upfront music from melbourne’s finest.
Since beginning in April 2002, becomeone has become London’s most loved Saturday day time party and has seen guest dj sets performed from the likes of John Askew, Graham Gold, Shan and Scott Bond at venues such as Canvas, Coliseum and the legendary Turnmills. In such a fragmented clubbing world, the aim of becomeone was to bring people together for a single event that provided the best in house, progressive, trance and hard dance. As the crowd evolved so did the music policy and the focus shifted to house/electro and tech trance.
The launch of becomeone Melbourne is on Saturday 13th August 2005 and will be held at the fantastic Brown Alley in Melbourne’s CBD. The music will start off in sultry deep house territory before ramping up to electro house through to progressive house and techno before finishing on a rousing tech-trance finale. What will unite all of the sets and genres though will be the emphasis on upfront music – you’ll hear no tired anthem sets at becomeone, just the very best in new dance music. However, this will not be an ‘education’ for the crowd – fun is the main aim of becomeone and all seriousness should be left at the door.
Appearing for becomeone on its launch night will be 4 DJs who have been chosen for their unique sound. Spinning the house and electro will be Kane (Frantic Melbourne resident and regular player at Revolver) and birthday boy Millergram (Melbourne based house dj). Toughening things up will be inthemix forum favourite JulesPlees and promoter and co-founder of becomeone, Shaun Rowland. More details on the DJs appearing can be found at

cheers fellas:- thanks for the giggly at vaccine, should be a ripper of a night.
now with this one we have some additional promos for ya:-
on Tues August the 8th i'll be doing a guest clubbers lunch on kiss from 1-2pm and Shawn Rowlands (founder of B1) will also be presenting a show (im guessing thursday) with his lovely wife.
hopefulle a kind of radio 1 feel to the show with fun clubs hits ranging between house/prog/electro and trance. so yeah ch00n in. |

the room we are using holds about 250 peeps and its well on its way to getting filled up so yer wanna come down txt/pm/call me - b4 i txt/pm/call you lolz.
