True dat.
Me and some friends had a great time hearing those classics too.
Ran into an old friend and thanks to lkd...made some knew ones too :D
I was really surprised at how small a turnout there was when I arrived at 9:30ish. In truth I only went there to hear St. Pete. Heard him a long time ago and wondered where he'd been at. Loved every track he played. He drew the crowd in slowly...playing house, techno and ending with classic trance. By the time he was closing up...the crowd had doubled.
I was fortunate enuf to have gotten the invite from him and partner to another location where he'd be spinning afterwards. When we got there I was a little disappointed that he wasn't going to spin after all...but soon forgot all about it when we got to talking about his plans. He's been busy, producing and composing. He's done pretty well...doing work for S.Twain and NellyF not to mention some scores for video games and some orchestral work. Psssst...the rumours of him and oakenfold were true.
Wow...a multitalented man and so humble and down to earth.
Keep your eyes and ears open for his new group (I think he called them) "Fashion District"...it's gonna be a new band that's atleast 2 years ahead of itself. He's taking his experience and sounds direct from the UK so it should be really exciting to see where he'll be at in another 2 yrs.
Newayz...I can't wait to hear more from him at the boat cruise.
