I thought it was personally.
Foucault's Pendulum was about a thousand times more interesting. |

| Am I the only one that prefer Angel's & Demon's to the DaVinci code? I think that book pisses the Vatican off more than DaVinci does.. the Vatican actually tried to get A&D banned. |

true... but it does come as the first step and invoke interest in such topics of religion, which are considered untouchable for discussion by most people. it helps fight the ignorance, and may well be the first step for a person to investigate further into the issue. |

I was j/k well sort of. I found the ideas interesting and it raised a lot of good questions, but Dan Brown is no great writer. He's one of those NYT best sellers who cranks out books for public consumption. It was chance that he hit upon the wildly successful premise of the DaVinci Code. His writing reminds me of a cheesy action/thriller movie and that is fine for most ppl but not for me. |

The DaVinci Code book, i wasn't really enjoying it. I was intrigued everytime Brown went into details about facts such as IM Pei's instruction to have 666 panels on that structure or female sybmolism. i figured i would just stop reading the book and get this guide to find even more facts
i like the facts about kissing. soul to soul contact, no condom |

theoretically - yeah. but driving a range rover in total darkness through a field into the forrest is... lets say, not easily believable. |

| Well I went back to Borders Books, and even though I was set on getting one of the 'Unauthorized Guides...' I instead got Battle Royale by..., forgot his name. Anyways anyone read this? I heard the movie was mint. Unfortunately though it's banned here in the states). |

The ending was definitely over the top. Didnt like it, but the build up to it was much more interesting than in the da vinci code. |
