i HATE dreams

Have you ever had such a real, vivid dream, that you honestly felt like killing yourself when you woke up?

I did today...the dream was perfect, it was everything im hoping for in a gf, but as soon as i was waking up, i totally felt like strangling myself cause it wasnt real.

Im actually still quite surprised today in how real it felt.

Anyone else love and hate dreams?

Plz share.

oh yes totally, i had a dream the other night about a girl named park. i really like that name now.

Trust me, if you had dreams to the same degree of vividity and horror that half of mine are, you'd be insane. Seriously. I mean, when your bad nightmares start coming true (eg London being bombed) you know you're in trouble :nervous:

Half the time i dont even remember my dreams, or i get these weird ed up dreams, thats when you wake up your glad that it wasnt real :conf:

But yeah i had a dream simmilar to you once when i was single, in the dream i just met this perfect girl everything was right the sex, personality, looks, she liked trance, and going so well, then the alarm goes off :whip:

whats worse is night terrors, when you suddenly wake up in your sleep in the middle of the night after a bad dream and you cant move because your body is still in sleep mode and its dark. very scary xperience :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:

you mean your gf doesn't cook and clean in real life?

my dreams are usually out of body experiences. I'm usually on the floor spinning, lights are flying around, i feel my body getting up and then back into myself. the last time that happened, some arms came out from under the bed and grabbed me. i woke up screaming.
other than that, i had a dream about waiting to take off in an airplane with open windows.

i have this recurring dream about this burning man, like ill be in a normal situation, and then ill walk into like my living room, and this man who looks like he's been burned very badly is sitting there with this expression on his face, staring at me accusingly.
washout
i can control my dreams once i realize i am dreaming.
i usually wake up mid dream.
and when i fall back asleep im like DREAM I OWN YOU.
and i win.

Night terrors, eh? I've had those before. I think so, anyhow. Not fun.

I think I only like about 5% of the dreams I have, if even that. And I've only had one dream I distinctly remember liking in the past three or four months. And that one was nothing special. :stongue:

Worst dreams I can remember having:

London and Amman getting bombed in ONE ING DREAM SEQUENCE :nervous:
Vancouver getting nuked
Being shot in the head by Osama Bin Laden at Mayfair Mall in Victoria, BC, in the men's department of "The Bay."
Bangkok getting nuked (and to think, I've never been there, like with most places, but the city name stuck in my head like a nail in a 2-by-4 - it always happens that way with me)
Boston being under attack by terrorists
Me on a field trip gone horribly wrong in New York City
The numerous times I've been killed by a bear, a dog, or a cougar
Being swept away in a hurricane from somewhere in SE Asia
The Armageddon dream I had two nights ago (although that did have a good ending, it was pretty in scary)
my best friend's now-ex, ramming the car the friend and I were in and trying to run her over (and I had this while they were still dating, too... messed up)
Being knived to death by Marilyn Manson (this should be good for a laugh for you lot :haha: )

And most of those have been in the past two or three years (except the bears/dogs/cougars bit)

this may seem weird and hard to believe but a couple years ago
i woke up exactly 7.39am 5 days in a row

was it my 'body clock' waking me up at that exact time, or was i dreaming it :conf:

No offence to anyone, but i think anyone that thinks dreams are "just your brains way of processing daily information" like the govenment say, then you are pretty naive. There has to be more to them then that, as someone has already said and im sure many more people also experience the same thing, where u dream something and weather it be a few days down the line, or like me, 6 months down the line it comes true, you know start to wonder about them, and the fact it happens quite often leads me to believe that its not just coincedence. Ive been thinking about this topic lately and i just cant acept that dreams are just random bits of information, they surely must have some kind of meaning. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

very true, sometimes something happens....and i suddenly have this strong sence of deja vu

dreams are very intersting, and if i happen to remember a dream or even vividly remember one i try to write down what happened

Most of my boring dreams end up coming true, anywhere from two weeks to four or five years down the road. I get déjà vu so often that I wonder if I need help :p

I had one about this old guy telling me to come back to Christ (during a period where my faith was the only thing keeping me afloat, but I hadn't been to church for a few months)... turns out a year later that I end up meeting the guy, exactly the same, except shorter hair. Dick Robinson.

And then of course, the one I had about London being bombed.

Help. :nervous:
