Poll: Birth Of An Angel ripoff?

Hi there guys! I'm working on a new track right now and I came up with this nice little theme melody. Then I sent it to a few friends on my msn, and one of them told me it sounded too much like Armin Van Buuren's Birth Of An Angel. Here's a clip:

Do you agree or can I safely use this melody? Other opinions?

| You don't have to scrap it, just try tweaking it a bit so it sounds different. Change of key perhaps? |

| Yeah, only first bar of the melody is BOAA (and it is very obvious). The rest has no similarity at all. |

I agree with the others. Keep the synths, but alter the notes very slightly.
Also remember that when you add other stuff, like the beat, it'll sound different.
