Hey!

I will buy the Korg Legacy Collection bundle this week. After playing around with it in my local music store. It seems to have everything you need. A very nice multi effect and with the combinator you can get huge sounds out of it.

Sounds warmer to me than most VST synths out there At the moment. Also the MS 20 hardware controller is very nice!

Do you agree with me? Is it worth the money?

Sure it is!

it's quite good; quality patches. it's also a cpu hog, which i guess isn't a problem if you don't mind bouncing to wav.

Hey. It is definately worth it! If you have heard the pro-53 supersaw, then you will be overly pleased with the quality of a Polysix or an MS-20 supersaw. I'm not a big user of the Wavestation but it is really great for atmospheric effects. Besides all of that, the MS-20 filters can be used as an effect and they definantly wont dissapoint :). One thing to keep in mind though, it does drain your computer pretty quickly if you dont use it properly. Know what type of sound you are wanting to acheive and think critically if you really need the Legacy Cell Wrapper (which provides super highqaulity delays, choruses, reverbs and tons of other effects). If you truely dont need to use it, then to save CPU, just simply drop in the Polysix or the MS-20 seperately. With the Legacy Cell Wrapper, on my P4 2.4GHz w/ HT, I can get a max of 2 Legacy cell Wrappers running at the same time, however with the plugins (Polysix and MS-20) dropped in seperately, the usage is comparable to FM7 or z3ta+ per instance. Definantly get it though. Its a must have for trance producers :).

Cheers,
Zac

Excellent software synths but very confusing where the keyboard controller is concerned, unless you have a degree or two in (oldschool) synthesis. I bought this a while back, the keyboard is VERY tacky and I have never used it.

Let me know how you get on with it.

I'll just say that it has infinite amounts of possibilities.

Yes i agree to this...

the performance vsti with the capabilitiy of combing polysix n MS-20 is amazing...quality sounds.
