Well I am back already. After standing in teh "VIP" line and having them take their time, they were like sorry, past 11 not free entry. I was like I have been in line since 10:30. As the bouncer let a gazillion other people in. I was on the eventvibe "vip" list. Anyway, since I was with someone who really wasnt "into it" i was like screw it. Plus the guy was like "i can let your lady in but you have to pay $20".....
I have been to a number of other events on the "vip" list without any attitude.

Yeah, EventVibe might call that VIP, but it's not the VIP line. The VIP line is the center line where all the dancers and other VIPs walk in. That line is really just the guest list line.
They have always been strict about the cutoff. You have to make sure to get there early enough to get in before 11pm. It's a Myst policy because I know a couple of the EventVibe guys and even they haven't been able to help me when I get there late.
Sometimes I don't even bother anymore. Lately the cover has been around $10 and I waste that savings on drinks by being in the club longer.
