In our country (spain), there is a tipe of music that arrived 2 years ago or so, called reggeaton, from central america, and it is invading all our discos, kicking the real electronic musik from all the pubs, i just need a firm from u all to push it out of our country, before its too lae and it arrives to ibiza.....

hey REALAAAAAAAXXX!!! Reggeaton IS NOT from Central Maerica... I am from El Salvador and I hate that and it does not come from here (at least not from El Salvador) :D Its from Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic and ... I hate that music so muuuch and its taking over here as well... only good thing about it is that it gets latin girls to grind on the dancefloor... but its still not worth it :whip: |

| This regaeton fad is not helping the fact that our youth is already being corrupted by hip hop, but now this. Reggeaton will only aid in the destruction of our soietys just as hip hop has. okay maybe im bieng to harsh. Perhaps though if there where no hip hop the crumy neighborhoods i live by would not be as bad as they are. Most of this music with the excepetions of artists such as acyealone, the grouch, etc.. preach demorilizing women, and criminal acts and behaivors. |

Its a type of music that has been growing a lot lately... its like a spanich version of hip-hop but EVERY song has the same stupi/boring beat and has even crapier lyrics than hip-hop (its har to believe but trusssst me its true)... the best example is one of the most popular songs going around called Gasolina...
The lyrics go "A ella le gusta la gasolina, dale mas gasolina"
I never realized the complete retardedness of reggeaton until an american girl at a bar asked me "what does this song say?".. at which point i felt truly embarassed to even translate those retarted lyrics :D |
