| hi can anyone help out its real easy it was at the start of this johnny shaker - pearl river song but im pretty sure its not that one is it? its like a distinctive riff from a fairly big song i think just cant remember what... |

That riff is from:
Lucid - I Can't Help Myself (The Lucid Vocal Mix)
The tune before "Pearl River" on Trance Nation 1.
I think this riff is used in another tune as well, but I'm not sure. |

Of course, now I remember - the riff is also used in:
Chicane - Saltwater
That was probably the one you were thinking about. ;) |

I think it sounds like ThreeŽn One presents Johnny Shaker - Pearl River that is in the mix with Chicane - Saltwater, just in between in that sample

Nope, the riff is from: Lucid - I Can't Help Myself.
The same riff is used in Chicane - Saltwater though. |
