i think this is one of those tracks which either you 'get it' or you dont. Personally i think it's beautiful and captures the mood and atmosphere of the actual northern lights brilliantly. I think s&p are great at writing and producing multiple melodies that compliment each other and actually convey a mood/feeling, rather than just 'cool sounding bleeps'. Can't wait to see what these guys do next.

| Its not too bad. I heard it in 2 of pauls sets. It sounds nice, but nothing too special. I had it in my hands at the shop the other day but couldnt convince my self to buy it. |

trance: maybe you really should listen to this tune
Because it is a decent trance track. People just automatically assume that because above & beyond play it or whatever that it sucks. Thats a load of .
I think most of there stuff is typical, but this is pretty good. I can see why paul is playing it |

original remix? :conf:
i think it's rather bland but at the same time i can't bring myself to actively dislike it. i kinda agree with what nell says too, just there isn't really anything exciting about it
gets a middle of the road 6/10 |

I prefer Hijack to Northern Lights as well. And if we're comparing their trance songs, I think Believe (2004 mix) is even better than Northern Lights.
Anjuna's not killing trance, it's one of the labels that's actually keeping it alive. I do agree that there is a specific "Anjuna feel," very melodious and trancey. I do, however, think that Hijack doesn't fit as well into that category. And I think they're branching out with Air to Life and Larry Mountains 54. Anjuna puts out quality tunes, no matter the style. |
