| Anyone know of any online vinyl shops that when shipping to you, they place the value of the media (raw materials) on the way bill instead of what you paid for the records? Groovetech.com places the value of every record you order at $1 (the cost of the vinyl itself), I then don't have to pay brokerage fees and taxes when it comes in through customs. I know in Canada and the US, the governments both agree it's hard to place a value on software / literature / music so legally all you have declare is the raw material used either blank cd/paper/blank vinyl which is next to nothing. We ship books and CD's here at work and do the same and have for years. I'd like to find some more places online like that since it makes things quite a bit cheaper when ordering online. |
