Once I met this girl on the internet, and although generally if you are stupid enough to meet people on the internet you spend most of the time when with them trying to figure out why they can't get dates normally, it never seems to work.
But this time I struck gold. Successful tall Danish chicky just arrived from Sydney, doesn't know anyone, and she's beautiful. Conversation is running along smoothly, we get on like a house on fire in fact, she wants to watch me dj and I want to see her take her clothes off, its going perfectly. We have a few drinks in a classy bar as I skillfully dodge questions about committment and relationships. She has already told me about a couple of her ex's so I know I'm in.
We go to another bar, as I'm being a tour guide here. Things are going even better, she likes my arms for some reason and I like her ass for obvious reasons. Soulmates? Perhaps. She asks me directly if she can crash at my house because she lives a little out of town. Now this is a que to go home, and go home now. Its the moment when I suggest a couple of cocktails back at my house, or some champagne, and I make her scream.
But no, what do I do, my decision making ability impaired by the 20 drinks I have consumed? I suggest going over the road to the sleaziest venue in Brisbane, where a girl like this is going to be mobbed. It gets worse. We are there for a while and drink a few drinks and have a dance and the guys are like a pack of hyenas looking at a prey on the desert plane.
I go the toilet and get another round of drinks, only to lose about an hours worth of time somehow. She is now surrounded by a pack of bodybuilders, and barks at me where have I been all this time. I get in a tussle with this guy that weighs in at about 120kg and has arms like legs, and end up going home angry, frustrated and feeling like even Ned Flanders could have nailed this chick.
Anyway, a good lesson learnt about making the most of your opportunities.... |
