A " REDIICULASE" story concerning my shower drain and my stupidity...

Today I cleaned my shower, scrubbed it real good, then had to rinse out all the chemically goodness so as to make it habitable by man again...
What's this then? My drain won't drain! Well, I'll stick a coat hanger down there, that'll fix everything right up...
Nope.
Drano Gel Max! Gotta head to the store, but this will do the trick...
Nope.
Well, I've got the keys to my M8's apartment down the hall, I can shower there... I'll call the landlord.
4 hours pass - I get sweaty, time for a shower.
As I look into the shower in Drew's apartment, I see their drain, wide open, ready to drain like a good drain should... And I realize at this exact moment, that while I was scrubbing the tub, I bumped the switch up to close the drain for a bath!
I run back to my apartment with astonishing speed and incredible clarity, to triumphantly switch the lever back to it's normal, draining function, and breathe a sigh of relief as the 2 inches of standing water, drano, and coat hangers that had haunted my dreams drained with a mighty gurgle!

Dude... for a week my life has just been flipped around almost 100%... This was the epitome of my ineptitude... :D

Could be worse, my roomate, (most of you know who that is :D ) Actually told me to call maintainance for this same problem, I didn't check it out myself. When they came they just opened the drain,...
He doesn't get to place maintainance requests any more :) |
