i met my first emo chick today. i had never met an emo person before, but let me toell you she was a ****. i struck up a conversation about music, and i asked
"what's your biggest musical influence?"
"AFI."
"who's AFI?"
"that's sad. that's really, really sad."
"well who is it?"
"AFI is like, the greatest emo band ever."
"oh, dashboard confessional style right?"
"hell no! AFI makes dashboard confessional look like .
sorry, i'm not in the emo scene.

The music doesn't all suck. I mean sure, most of it does, but some of it is all right. Its more the people/culture that I dislike. Its the same as rap, there is some rap out there that isn't so bad, but if I have to put up with "ghetto" culture to listen to it I would rather not. |

Sorry. But as much as I like IDM or other kinds of experimental electronic music, WHY do you have to act like, and look like ALL the indie emo rockers.
