.gig file?

Ive just download some samples and there is just one file .gig?
How would i convert this to something i could extract or what program does it open in?

Kontakt 2 opens .gig. It's a sampler file. Many samplers will open it.
Extreme SampleConverter can open the GIG, but it's often one sound for each note, so it's not effective to extract it. |

| I'ts a Giga Sampler file. But most of the softwares can open it. |

| if you want to convert it just get awave studio it can convert it to wav samples only, or SF2 or anything you might think of, it's pretty handy piece of software. Google for it. |
