I have a question in the same line as the thread from JayD, accept I'm not that lazy :D and therefore am looking for a pitchcontrol program.... Preferably one that keeps the same tone level when de/incresing pitch.

We are all lazy :) , well anywayz try looking for a program called pitchfork. That is the prgram that will help you for what you want... |

If you want to keep the tone level of the track while incresing it's speed it's not called pitch shifting anymore. It's changing tempo. :)
I think there's a plugin for Winamp which allows you to change tempo of an mp3.
Tempo control can also be found on many CD players meant for a DJ use.

For all of those that are interested, @ http://www.downloads.com I found a program, plug-in for winamp, called chronotron. It perfectly "changes tempo" ;) I've tried it on various tracks now and all of them are smoothly running faster (or slower) and still sound the same. I really recommend this program! :D
