offkey VSTs?

| In fruity 5, with certain VST instruments, the first note of the melody is played offkey, usually one semitone above or below what it's supposed to be. So for instance if I wrote C C C C on every beat, it would play something like C# C C C. I presume it might have something to do with midi controllers. Anyone know how to fix this? |

Hey. I believe this is a flaw in version 5. A quick fix (until Image-Line fix it) is to leave a blank measure at the beggining of the melody or whatever pattern(s). In my expirience, this seemed to correct it.
Cheers,

I had this problem, annoying isn't it?
Like DS said, leave an gap before the note starts, I found 1/4 beat to be the minimum that worked, but making it a full bar is more convinient when it comes to positioning it in the playlist. |

I once encountered this problem, but can't remember which plugin it was... didn't have the problem anymore though in FL Studio 5?
You can always try to do the following (not sure it helps your problem though):
options -> audio settings -> check 'reset plugins on transport' |
