WOW!! I think I just lost 5 lbs. by dancing my ass off to his sick ass, dirty, uning believable set! My body is killing me! hehe :D
James, if you're reading this, I have to tell you, you were GREAT, but I'm sure u knew that already! ;) How the hell do u come up with these tunes?
Justin & John did a rockin opening set too. I was so happy to see Justin up there. :)
I wasn't planning on going to Monday Night Social cuz I work early on weekdays, but after last night, I think it's worth it to go!
The people who went to Spundae last night don't even know what they missed out on. :rolleyes: |

LOL. I was thinking the same thing about the people who went to see JZ. A&B put on a show like no other. It was amazing. I'm still sweating from all the dancing. |

Awesome review julia!! If only i was over 21 i would have gone to see zabs after! and on monday too, but my heart and soul is with above and beyond! Can't wait to see pics from both events!!! What a night this must have been! One thing I cannot do is compare above and beyond and zabiela! I like them both in very different ways! |

He en ROCKED IT...amazing mixing, effects, it was just insane. He is now my #1 favorite live DJ. Just AMAZING.
If any of you have an ounce of sense you'll be at Monday Night social...I still want MORE JZ!
p.s. Nice seeing some of our proghead TA's in force...jethro, lrcn, julia, carrie, tjpatel, and of course TIGO AND TIGO. |

Yes...I am sad I missed them playing pretty much 75% of the most over-played tunes ever. Anyone can in beat match some records.
Zabiela is an ARTIST. I recognized 4 tracks in his set...12:30 till 5:30 |

A few things I'd like to say in case anyone comes on here wondering...
Firstly I managed to catch a pretty bad cold on my flight to Dallas and it was in full swing last night in LA so couldn't really hear very well as one ear was totally bunged (so I hope it sound ok)!
Secondly I wasn't done at 5am, the other DJs basically kicked me off so I hope no one feels short changed (I do, you guys were great)!
Thirdly I'd usually be using a sampler to but like a noob I left my power transformer in Dallas.

p.s above and beyond are totally different musically to me and I hear they're really great at what they do. So I have to respect those people that would rather see them, it just depends what music you're into that's all. Peace! |
