ummm who the hell refers to him as Dyk?

do u say buuren for armin?
or Silva if someone's name is de Silva?
or would u say Bir instead of O'Bir?
i could go on and on, but i hope you get my point. referring to paul van dyk as dyk is awful-sounding and not his last name. don't want to pick on something stupid but reading "dyk" in the thread topic for fave pvd night just annoys me.
and now that i got that out.... :)
