#1 I'm as modest as they come (despite what some have said).. I don't think anything of mine is that good. I've had loads of E-Mails and PMs in the last three months based on the samples on my site, and those are all old-school. I can't even count the amount of times that I've been asked for my P.O.S. - Gravity Rework.. Though out of respect for Paavo (of Above and Beyond) I haven't really given it to anyone save my closest of close friends and to this day only Barry (DJ_Ampz), Matt Hardwick, Armin van Buuren & Paul Moelands (Octagen) have the final master. Still not fantastic, but it's had some great reviews. ;)
There's one remix i'm working on that I honestly feel i've been blessed to be working on.. As of right now, it's unofficial but i'm keeping close contact with the artist himself and when the time comes, i'll offer it up for the CD maxi. If that track or any of the materials were to be leaked, I'd die a thousand times over just because of how much is riding on this release. So in that sense, yeah. I'm scared less of it being stolen.
Whoops, to add to the stupidity thread, I decided to wash my work shirt with a set of brand new black towels.

yea i totally see what ur saying about the leaking...i even found the first remix that MAxQ and I had done together last year on soulseek once...even tho that wasnt all that great, it was spreading:nervous: |

I just think it was a matter of knowing who to give it to.
I *know* none of the people I gave it to would risk that leak.
Not to say that they did it on purpose, but god forbid, someone might accidentally share their entire PC.

so far all the stuff ive posted in that thread is stuff i see no potential with and u may notice that most of those links are deadlinks and incomplete tracks.....the main purpose of that thread is to get tips from other producers and get djs to hear stuff locally but that was before i made some contacts and now i just send stuff as well to bigger names to get feedback or email my tracks to locals who are interested... (same as what ur doin)

I spilled beer on my laptop and fried the motherboard.
Thank god for DELL's complete care warranties! I told them I had no clue what the was going on but that it was broken and they needed to fix it. They picked it up at my door and this baby had a new motherboard in less than 48 hours.

He's accident prone like that. He wasn't watching where he was going apparently, and his ass knocked something over @ two tribes last year in Melbourne.. Dead silence. He ended up soloing for about 4 minutes while his booted back up.
ing priceless. Crowd still loved him. |
