| Sorry about this rather stupid question im not a n00b producer but i was wondering can you control say the Fruity Mixer settings with an external mixer? Like the new firewire onyx mixer, volume, frequencies and such? Or no? |

| yes, typically, via MIDI interface. |

| So i an connect my Onyx when i buy it, via firewire and be able to control my fruity mixer settings externally with the onyx sliders and knobs? |

| Yes, but you must link mixer faders to the one on the controller using "Link to controler" option from the right-click menu |
