Maybe mix in some housey stuff to dance to?
Pattink
throw on some daft punk too, that always gets people dancing. Wait, 16 year old, nevermind, that is too early to get smashed and have a 4AM dance party in a random basement. but yeah, try more main stream AvB and tiesto stuff, otherwise people with be like, "WTF mate?"
NuDarkBeat
dude you cant just come to this website and be able to find all the good stuff right away. the process to becoming a trance or house or whatever guru is a long one, and you need to take your time to find out what suits what your looking for. just hang around the site and if you really have that much interest than you will start learning good music. how about this go to the tracklisting and look at all the big name dj`s....they always spin the best music

first brick in the path

by the way...if your working with a hip hop crowd drum & bass and breakbeats is the best choice. Just telling you what i know from experience.

Ya thats a good point, all my friends are into Rock and Hiphop, but when I play DnB for them they love it.

Terrorcore. All terrorcore.

If, say, I had a party, I would put on any or all Bad Boy Bill CD's since 1999.
RIZDRAVER
Again, any epic trance is just gonna be laughed at by most pop-savvy drunk 16 year olds.

Another essential buy: 'Urban Jungle' by Aphrodite

A classic that still stands alone.

With his legendary remixes of N.W.A, Luniz's 'I Got 5 On It', Roni Size's 'Brown Paper Bag', 'Man of Steel', Jungle Brothers, and Aaliyah, anybody not clued in to underground d&b will almost instantaneously grow fond of this awesome mix that evangelized the US/Canada with the jump-up jungle that took over the scene in the 90's.
Ory
Yeah... I don't see why people are recommending mainstream trance artists. That's for people who are slowly getting into dance music, not for parties with people who don't know about it. House/Breakbeat seems like a closer relative to whatever they listen to.
