WOW HE SPEAKS! I was waiting for you to shed some light on the sound (or lack thereof) during the evening. But instead I get cheap comebacks for a totally valid criticsm.

I didn't mean it to be a personal attack mate, I just can't get over how e the sound was. It was mind blowingly brutal for 55$.

The sound was not of poor quality - it was quiet (attenuated) and for good reason (bylaw enforcement on site, on island - waiting to shut the place down and remove it's license the moment the volume went 1 db over limit).

Tiesto wouldn't let the place be setup with poor sound quality. His (Tiesto's) comments based on the sound check show that he was pleased with the sound quality and the room's acoustics - and prior parties @ The Docks also attest to the quality.

It doesn't matter how "good" the sound is - take 5000+ people and by-law enforcement regulated volume and of course it will sound washy (no fault of The Docks or Tiesto). If one has problems with the sound - take it up with city hall not with The Docks.

+1 ...

a really nice set from tiesto, but not having the volume loud enough to full enjoy it was pretty dissappoining to me. I could carry a dscussion in the club with ease... I think it was better when he was here in december.

See you in October MCI ;)

looks great to me!

but I agree about a concert type seating being different then at say the docks.

You already got the tix??? I really wanna go too, just not sure how things will fall for me that weekend. Prolly be a last minute decision however I'm afraid tix will be gone completely by then. Miami is also a possibility!!
