My paper about Twilo. I got an A+

My teacher asked us to write a paper about something you knew well and is not around anymore. I knew students were gonna write about their old house and the cat they owned and lost. So i decided to write about Twilo and i got an A+. This is the shorter version, so here it goes.

I remember Twilo. I remember the club very well. All it is now is a memory but it will always be with me.
August 25, 2000 - I was celebrating my birthday that night. Surprisingly enough my cousin decided to take me to this amazing club for the first time. The line stretched around the block and was 2 hours long. Every Friday and Saturday since 1995-96 would be like this. You would be lucky to find a person walking down that block at midnight now a days.
The Fasade that boldy said "Twilo" on it is no longer there. West 27th street and 10th avenue has lost its soul. Its just as cold and empty as any other Manhatten village street. Phazon was Twilo's mighty sound system. What was said to be the best club sound system in the States is now selling for millions. The sound was so fluid, perfect settngs, great mid-range and a firm bass. All there is to hear now are birds chirping and taxi's honking.
Seeing the best Dj's in the world easily influenced anyone who went week after week. It also inspired the 3000 people that would fill the place up. Entering through those doors was like entering another world. Those big black doors have been locked for the past half year. This was one of the only things in my life that made me happy. Now its gone but life goes on.

great paper Dennis! I'm glad you got such a good grade! I remember the nites at Twilo when there weren't huge lines outside...hehehehe I remember walking right into to hearing Luis Diaz spin at like 12:30...no line! ahhhh that was nice...then it blew up...and you had to get there at like 10 pm to ensure you were there before the doors opened so aht you wouldnt have to wait on line for hours and hours! Yuck! hehehehe Ahh the memories...anyone heard something about Twilo reopening again....the rumor mill is churning....
bucky
