Considering the extent of my polish upbringing revolves around an older generation of more old fashioned polish people, saying Kurde openly in front of them was UNHEARD OF, hence the reason I thought it was very offensive.

aaah that would certainly explain it.. amazing how language changes from generation to generation |

actually, the word "kurde" is not considered that offensive.. it's used very casually to express frustration.. sort of like darn or damn
there's another k word that would be like the equivalent of "" ;) |
Kurwa, this word is respectively known almost by any person I encounter.
I stay in shape, work out regularly, do lots of cardio & now I'm thinking of signing up for swimming. |

It has a couple meanings e.g. calling a women Kurwa, means a harsh way of calling her a dirty whore/slut. Another meaning is basically the same meaning as "" lol |

you're right .. however, many times it will be used in teh same way as as in "what the (kurwa) are you doing?"..
there is another word that starts with a p which would reflect the literal (verb) meaning of ..

I hope its reasonably effective -- actually it is! which im gratefull for. I love the idea of doing something that you love and that being beneficial for you.
actually, i really should start jogging again, we have a treadmill, and i just love that feeling after you've run for like 30 minutes or so, you're sweating to death and your endorphines are high... its just such a great feeling! i always feel content and pleased with life after running for a while i find.
(Just gotta get over that laziness factor... bitch!)

I know (at least I think) you're usually sober, in which case that's relatively okay, but for anyone partaking in the partay favours, it can actually be dangerous. If one is going to be "pushing the limits" from week to week, it's actually really important to build up the cardiovascular endurance, otherwise it can lead to heart problems later on.
That's what I've heard from a few places, anyway. It makes perfect sense to me, and besides, regular exercise is good for you so you should do it anyway. Walk, jog, bike, row, lift weights, anything is better than sitting around. |

Weight up, weight down. My air conditioning sucks in my gym so I haven't been lately. And I've been stuffing my face. Mmmmm tasty food. I'll be in peak condition by next summer.
It's hard to find a groove for the gym with shift work. I hate going to the gym when it's busy. And the bike is really heavy (the one I got for the bike trails). And it's been really smoggy and sticky. Excuses excuses. They don't call it the dog days of summer for nuthin. |
